Lynden is a small city with a strong Dutch heritage, evident in its
architecture and symbolized by a prominent windmill downtown (which
is actually a hotel!) and its "postkantoor," or post
office in dutch. The pride this town has can be seen driving down
virtually any street: all homes are clean and well-kept with neat
yards that make old TV shows blush. It is a growing community
only a few miles from the border and 15 minutes from Bellingham.
